Team Exergy

Founded in 2009, Team Exergy competed as an Elite amateur team in the world of Professional cycling in 2010. The squad raced at a number of prestigious NRC (National Racing Calendar) events, such as the Tour of the Gila, (New Mexico), Cascade Classic (Oregon), Mt. Hood Cycling Classic, the Boise Twilight Criterium, and also at invitation-only events including the Redlands Classic, Tour of Utah and the Tour of Bulgaria. Team Exergy emerged from the season with wins in seven states, a national championship podium placing, and a large measure of respect from the Professional peloton. 

With a multi-year commitment to the title sponsorship from Exergy Development Group, Team Exergy will move into top US professional cycling ranks with UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) Continental status for the 2011 racing season. Seven new athletes have been recruited to bolster the 2011 roster in pursuit of higher aspirations, namely winning NRC races and landing invitations to Professionals-only level events such as the Tour of California and the newly announced Tour of Colorado in the coming season.
